Training

About the Training
This training is for non-LEWs who want to better understand and work with their LEW colleagues. Lived Experience Workforces (LEWs) are essential in the mental health reform occurring in Victoria. However, often Lived Experience disciplines and scope are misunderstood, and well-established power dynamics and workplace processes can impede LEW ways of working.
This training will increase understanding of Lived Experience Workforces (LEWs) from the mental health sector, and explore how learners can support LEWs at their service.
Training details
The training will run from 9:00am–4:30pm, with morning tea, lunch and afternoon tea provided.
We understand that work commitments and personal circumstances can change. If you are no longer able to attend, please let The Collective know as early as possible by emailing collective@sharc.org.au.
This allows us to offer the place to someone on the waiting list, update catering numbers and ensure the training is set up appropriately for the number of attendees.
