About the Training
How do we build authentic connection when experiences are so much different than our own? What are some of the ways to connect across cultural and systemic differences?
Join Kylie and Fiona for an interactive workshop exploring how understanding our own privilege – our “invisible knapsack” – allows us to connect authentically with families.
We will dive into the critical difference between intersecting identities and intersectionality and challenge the ways clinical systems often dismiss or overlook a family’s unique knowledge.
Together, we’ll go beneath the surface, understand multiple perspectives, and examine our own worldview to ensure we are holding space to connect with each family’s unique experience. Join us to share, connect, and strengthen the collective wisdom that shapes our ways of working.
